Fallbrook Farms: A New Hidden Gem Near Georgetown

If you’re looking for apple picking near Georgetown, Fallbrook Farms is a newer family-run farm that’s worth discovering. Located on Fallbrook Trail just north of Georgetown, it feels smaller and more relaxed than some of the area’s bigger farm attractions, while still offering plenty to do.

The main draw is the beautiful orchard, with more than 30 varieties of apples and pears throughout the season. I particularly liked how clearly the farm marked what was ready to pick, what wasn’t ready yet, and what had already finished for the season. The pear picking is also a nice addition you don’t find everywhere. Towards end of September and October, the pumpkins really start to shine!

While it is smaller than other farms, there’s plenty for kids too, including a corn maze, corn play area, farm animals, play structures, tractor wagon rides, plus, of course apple picking! Reviews consistently mention how clean the farm is, how friendly the staff are, and how it feels less crowded than some of the larger fall farms.

One of my favourite surprises is the location itself. The farm sits on a slope, so there is a little more walking involved, but it also means great views across the surrounding countryside—and on a clear day, you can even spot the Toronto skyline and CN Tower.

Fallbrook Farms is a seasonal business, reopening in late August and running through the fall before closing for winter and is open Thursday–Monday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly fall farm near Halton Hills that feels a little more manageable than the big-name attractions, Fallbrook is a great option.
